The Project has been awarded to India based Construction frim, Shapoorji Pallonji Group.The value of the contract is SAR 1.39 billion (USD 370.6 million).SEVEN’s entertainment destination in Al Hamra, which has an investment value of more than SAR 3 billion, is set on a land area of ​​more than 90,000 square metres with a built-up area of ​​167,000 square metres and occupies a strategic location at the intersection of the Eastern Ring Road and King Abdullah Road.

The 160,000sqm Qaryat al Hidd development consists of two separate residential developments, Sunrise and Sunset. More than 900 luxury apartments are spread across 12 buildings, each with housing ranging from one, two, three and four-bedroom units. The four and five storey apartments have been designed to be architecturally representative of their respective zones and are connected by greenery and ornamental gardens. All properties will offer waterfront views.

Shapoorji Pallonji, Siemens win $510m contracts for ROSHN’s Riyadh community project

Saudi Arabia’s national community developer ROSHN has signed contracts worth SAR1.9bn ($510m) with Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast and Siemens to support the first phase development of its Riyadh community development project.

The partnership with Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast is for the construction of 3,000 homes along with associated utilities, roads and landscaping for the first phase development. According to ROSHN, the contracts with Shapoorji Pallonji and Siemens are an important development pillars in the construction of the Riyadh community.

The Riyadh community is spread across an area of 20 million m2 and is located south of King Khalid International Airport.

Dur appoints Shapoorji Pallonji to build luxury Riyadh hotel SAR 259 Millions

Dur Hospitality Company has appointed Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering and Construction to build Diplomatic Quarter Riyadh Marriott Hotel and Executive Apartments.

The project is expected to be completed in two years for a total cost of SR259 million ($69 million), a statement said. It added that the hotel will be a 5-star, fully-serviced property standing on a 25,000 sq m plot of land, with 80 rooms and 140 executive apartments.It will also feature a restaurant, a banquet hall with a capacity of 400 guests, a fitness centre, and a parking lot with a capacity of 215 cars.

Shapoorji Pallonji to build first of 21 Saudi fun parks

Saudi Arabia’s state entertainment developer Saudi Entertainment Ventures (“Seven”) has picked Indian contractor Shapoorji Pallonji to build the first of 21 planned fun parks in the country to kickstart an attraction-based leisure economy.

Seven will spend $797m on the 90,000-sq-m park in the Al Hamra district of Riyadh. Activities offered there will include indoor surfing and skydiving, climbing, karting, and bowling. Seven is mandated to spend just over $13bn creating 21 fun parks in 14 cities in the kingdom to create jobs and boost tourism. It plans parks in Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa, Madinah, Yanbu, Abha, Jazan, Buraidah, and Tabuk.

It has secured partnerships with entertainment companies including Clip ‘n Climb, Warner Bros., Discovery, Mattel, and Hasbro.

Seven is a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
